Travel Notes Summary: Taipei, Xiang Chu, Chinese All-You-Can-Eat Last Saturday, we had a university classmate gathering at Xiang Chu's Zhongshan branch. This restaurant is quite well-known in Taipei because it was one of the early pioneers of Chinese all-you-can-eat, focusing on Hunan cuisine, and later added many Taiwanese or Sichuan dishes. There are about thirty-something dishes you can order, plus unlimited soups and desserts. I vaguely remember that night we ordered dishes like orange juice spare ribs, honey-glazed ham, nine-turn pork intestines, lettuce-wrapped shrimp鬆, bamboo section pigeon soup, curry crab, and so on. Some of the dishes were quite distinctive, like the pigeon soup, which is a type of soup made with minced meat. Overall, in terms of banquet-level standards, I'd personally give it around 75-80 points. The店内 is mostly staffed by slightly older female servers; service is okay, but some dishes come out very slowly. Weekend dinner is 530 TWD + 10% per person; weekdays seem to be 450 TWD + 10%. At first, it felt a bit pricey, but later thinking about it, it's equivalent to a wedding banquet table for less than 6…
