Location: Taipei, Fukusuke Japanese Pork Cutlet Restaurant
Travel note snippet: For dinner, I met up with my junior, Jiayang, from UrMap near Zhongxiao Fuxing Station. We stumbled upon Fukusuke, a tonkatsu specialty shop. It's part of the Mercuries Group, so ordering is similar to their beef noodle chain. We ordered two sets of crispy pork loin katsu for NT$140 each. The set came with rice, miso soup, side dishes, and dessert. The pork cutlet had a crispy coating reminiscent of KFC, and the meat was tender. With unlimited cabbage refills at this price, it's quite competitive. The SOGO branch filled up quickly after 6 PM, so we didn't linger after eating.
