Location: Taipei, Yaohe Sake Signature Bar
Travel Notes: It's rare for me to visit the same place twice within just a week. But this week, Yaohe happened to have a special single-glass offering of a certain Juyondai sake. So after my meeting today, I came back here. I started with two glasses of sake and a six-grid selection of fruit wines (summer citrus wine, brown sugar plum wine, oolong liqueur, red guava wine, watermelon sake, honey lemon plum wine), and finished with a glass of Juyondai from Takagi Shuzo's 'Bessenshiro' line (Banshu Yamada Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo - Special Selection Rice). I spent about 5 minutes slowly savoring it from the recommended drinking temperature of -5°C to +5°C, enjoying its rich floral and fruity sweet flavor—initially smooth and delicate, then suddenly bursting with a refreshing sweetness on the tongue.
