Location: Taipei, Huaxi Street Night Market
Travel note: After work today, I went alone from Neihu to Longshan Temple to pray, then wandered to the nearby Huaxi Street Night Market. I didn't expect that some places really only get revisited after a long time apart. The last time I came to Huaxi Street was over eight years ago. Back then, I came with university classmates like Bo-Min, Guo Xiao-Ping, Xing-Jian, and Ming-Hong after soaking in hot springs in Wulai. In the evening, we found Xin-Ru and came here to wander around. Compared to my memory from back then, Huaxi Street is much cleaner now. The snake meat shops are still there. But revisiting an old place inevitably brings up emotions—time slips through our fingers. Where will we be in the next eight years?
