Travel note: My boss Liang, who rarely comes back from mainland China, said I looked too thin and insisted on treating me to some nourishing food. Last week we went to Tian Cai Japanese Cuisine, and today he took me to Tainan Danzai Noodles on Huaxi Street. We had pumpkin foie gras soup, various seafood, and two bottles of Chilean red wine. I ended up getting a bit tipsy before gaining any weight. @@
