Travel note summary: Taipei, Cangjiu Forum; Neihu, Bukchon Tofu House (Citylink store). In the afternoon, I visited Otto, a Taiwanese liquor expert and founder of the Cangjiu Forum (https://www.tw-tw.com.tw), with artist Teacher Cai and his wealthy second-generation friend, Xiao Lai. Otto treated us to 12 different drinks: 1 wine, 1 sake, 3 sherries, and 7 whiskies. Afterwards, the three of them headed to Tamsui for the opening reception of a whisky museum. I went alone to Neihu; tonight, Lily introduced me to her friend, Simon, the CIO of Taipei Fubon Bank. Taiwan is small—Simon also has deep connections with Bincentive.
