Location: Taipei Ximending
Yesterday, I had to go to Ximending for a friend's errand. Afterwards, I found out Boss Loco and some of his students from various fields were having a barbecue, so I joined them at the intersection of Jinzhou Street and Zhongyuan Street. Both places I visited in Taipei this time were where I used to live. Especially around Zhongyuan Street, it brought back memories of 2009 when Ali, Ale, and I were learning technical analysis from Boss Loco in our younger days. I called Ale, and he came over later. Besides running two Maruka drink shops in Raohe Street and Huashan, and a hair salon, Ale now focuses more on property management, currently handling around 60 studio and suite rentals. We chatted until past 1 a.m.—others had beer, while another elder and I finished some sake. Thanks to Boss Loco for letting me stay in one of the suites overnight. The next day, to avoid crowds, I headed south early, first taking the airport MRT to Linkou Station to meet Yongjia, a classmate from Weidao Junior High.
