Location: Taipei, Ximending, somebody Brunch
Travel Notes: Met up with an old colleague, Shinong, from my self-managed investment department days this morning. It's been almost ten years since we last saw each other—he's now moved to KGI Securities as a manager. We chatted about this year's market trends and his NTU classmate from Shanghai, whom we both met before: Brother Gao Zijian, who's gained some fame in China's quantitative investment field. Time flew by as we talked about this and that. Thanks to Brother Shinong for treating me to this brunch! Coincidentally, General Manager Liang invited me for lunch at noon, so we all headed to a nostalgic Korean copper plate BBQ place in a lane off Zhonghua Road.
