Travel Notes: In the afternoon, I attended a performance by the dance troupe founded by Shao Laoshi, a fellow wine enthusiast, at the NTU Foreign Language Resource Center. Enjoyed dances from Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, and other regions. Afterwards, I visited a couple of museums at NTU that I hadn't been to before. In the evening, I came to Dihua Street, where there's a wine bar called Corner Sip that opened less than six months ago. Like LANDED, it was opened by three women. The wines in the shop are mainly Italian because one of the female owners previously studied and lived in Italy. But they also have wines from other Old and New World regions. During the over three hours in the shop, besides me, there were two Hong Kong girls and an American guy. I listened to them happily chatting in English about Hong Kong movies and various topics. In the end, everyone played a game guessing each other's ages, with constant laughter. It's a relaxed and fun little bar. Thanks to the female owner for treating me to a plate of pasta and chickpeas, and for letting me try many small glasses of red wine. The shop also has a cigar room. …
