Travel notes: Lunch gathering with six people at Le Blé d'Or and Jiajia Snack Shop in Taipei. Met Larry for the first time—he's worked in proprietary trading at major brokerages, often appears on TV, and now helps mainland companies expand overseas at Boda. First dinner of the evening with Andrew, Sheng, and Nick. Jiajia is a nearly 50-year-old shop, and the food is really good. Thanks to Sheng for hosting. Nick, whom I met for the first time, is a dual-licensed accountant in Taiwan and the US. A graduate of NTU's accounting department and UIUC master's program—truly outstanding. After parting ways, second stop of the night around Zhongxiao Dunhua. A friend introduced me to meet Sister Duan, who single-handedly accounted for over 70% of Longheng's performance back in the day.
