Location: Taipei, Chang'an East Road, Drunken Fisherman's Port Seafood
Travel note: Went to OSIM on Chang'an East Road to repair an eye massager in the afternoon and tried their latest AI massage chair—it adjusts music and massage modes based on stress levels, breathing, and heart rate. Technology keeps advancing! Then visited the nearby Land Reform Memorial Hall, revisiting the history of rent reduction, public land release, and land-to-the-tiller. In the evening, had stir-fry with Senior Lman, Joey, Andrew, and retired banker Brother Howard. Howard's son does business in Myanmar with many connections—added him on Line for future cover. Senior Lman left early for errands; thanks to Joey for hosting. The world is small—chatting with Joey, I found out he also attended the opening of Jiangnan Club in Shanghai back in 2010, run by Longheng executives. Maybe we crossed paths back then! Final round of singing and drinks arranged by Sister Duan Yu. Thanks to Andrew for hosting. Cheers! — Morgan @2024.3.5 evening
