Location: Taipei, Steak Inn. This is another famous steakhouse in Taipei—last time I came was over three years ago. After renovations, the whole place feels fresh and new. Brother Zheng-Liang treated me to lunch here today, partly as a farewell. Since leaving J.P. Morgan for Prudential, Zheng-Liang has been settling in well and developing steadily. Taiwan is so small: when I mentioned recently meeting Roger, he immediately said he knew him because Roger had given a presentation at his unit due to his outstanding performance, so they’d met once. :) We chatted about this and that—time flew by. Steak Inn’s business lunch steak offers great value at 500+10%. Thanks to brother Zheng-Liang for the treat—take care! ^^ P.S.: When I left Steak Inn to meet Sandy and pick up my Taiwan Compatriot Permit, I was waiting at a traffic light on Fuxing South Road when someone suddenly stared at me. Hey—isn’t that Boss Loco? Turns out he was in the area for errands. In this vast sea of people, we ran into each other again. Taiwan really is a small place... By Morgan, Oct 2, 2014
