Travel note summary: Duke came back from Hong Kong, so we arranged this gathering. The number of people grew from three initially to ten later. We simply asked Mars for a recommendation and booked a private club run by a Hong Kong boss for the whole venue, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The whole event included a Hong Kong fund manager, a friend doing forex trading in Australia, a foreign friend in financial services in Australia, a friend who sold his company and is now at NVIDIA, plus friends in construction and building materials, and Accountant Wang... Friends from all walks of life got to know each other over drinks. The next day at noon, I arranged for Brother Gong and the great God Gao to meet and get to know each other. We chose this high-end shabu-shabu restaurant upstairs in the Taipei 101 mall. Shilin is also a branch of the previously eaten He Shabu.
