Location: Taipei Din Tai Fung Xiaolongbao (Taipei 101 Branch)
Travel note summary: Met up with two seniors at Din Tai Fung in Taipei 101. Lman Chu, five years my senior from NCKU CCNS club, runs a composite bookstore called Doodle Space in Tainan, integrating southern entrepreneurial resources. Tzu-han Travor Kao, four years my senior whom I met while working in Hsinchu from NCTU, founded Chengxi Green Information in Taipei, excelling in web data extraction and mobile app development. They didn't know each other, but interestingly, both know Jim Huang, a junior currently teaching at NCKU, and have collaborated with Jingqun. Lman and Jingqun work on an Open Source Hardware project, while Tzu-han and Jingqun collaborate on hackathons for public welfare projects. One of my interests is connecting friends who don't know each other but share commonalities or needs, enabling resource sharing and integration. So, when Lman came north for Computex, I arranged for them to meet. Though our chat was brief due to location and schedules, we achieved the goal of getting acquainted tonight. I hope they can spark more collaborations in the future—then my mission is accomplished :P Anyway, I'm quit…
