Travel Notes: I'm not necessarily busy when others are, nor free when others aren't. Returned to Taipei after noon and was busy until dinner. Taking advantage of a gap before a 10 PM online meeting with Hong Kong, I ordered a whole German pork knuckle and found time to try a red wine I got from Cory. Looked it up—it's also recommended by teacher Liu Jutang and has good ratings on Vivino. It's from Chateau Franc-Cardinal on Bordeaux's Right Bank. After testing, it really doesn't need decanting; you can drink it right after opening. It has a bit of leather and smoky flavor, so it's on the drier side. Overall, it's a wine with good value for money, letting me head into the meeting with a perfect slight buzz. XD By Morgan @2024.8.25 evening
