Taipei CIGAR KING. Fermented by Zeng House (4th visit) and CIGAR KING. I spent the whole afternoon at home learning all about Italian wine. That evening I went out to see Sihao, whose place I hadn't been to for a while. Sunday night was busy—only bar seats were left. I told Sihao I felt like some interesting wines, and he always manages to conjure up all sorts of bottles. So we started with a Slovenian white, then a New Zealand red, then a red from Sicily near Mount Etna. Finally, Sihao treated me to a glass of Greek orange wine. After leaving, I'd planned to go to Yigaoshi to finish with a cigar, but Shaolin and Ah Mao weren't in the shop. So I went to explore a new place nearby. At CIGAR KING, I picked a non-Cuban cigar with rich cocoa flavor. Paired with a slightly sweet brandy and a Woodford American bourbon whiskey—both went nicely. Had a brief chat with Kent, the manager. Cheers~ By Morgan @ evening of July 12, 2026.
