Location: Taipei, CalaCala Italian Kitchen restaurant
Travel note summary: Just finished a meeting and reached a pause in coding. Heading to play badminton later, so I have some time to kill—might as well pull out another article to write. One day, our trading department head treated a few from our team, plus a trader from Yuanta mainly doing spread trades, to a meal at this CalaCala Italian restaurant on Yangguang Street in Neihu. Checking the business card, it has three branches—two in Xindian and one in Neihu. So, one evening after work, we pushed open the door and dined here. The ambiance inside is quite nice, elegant and stylish. On a weekday night, it was pretty quiet, good for discussing things, though I hear it gets busy on weekends. A set meal runs around NT$300 or more. Like most Italian places, the menu has baked dishes, pasta, and steaks to choose from. Having the full set, I thought it was decent overall. In summary, it's a restaurant with no major issues, worth a try. Just for reference~ :) CalaCala Italian Kitchen (Neihu branch). Address: No. 240, Yangguang Street, Neihu District, Taipei City.
