Travel note summary: After dinner, Manager Liang invited me to continue the night here, as today is also the 70th birthday of one of his good friends, celebrated at this spot. China Pa used to be on Anhe Road but later moved to its current location on the 11th floor of Core Pacific City. The interior has a nightclub vibe, offering food and drinks along with live singing performances in the evening. Tonight featured a singer who usually performs at casinos in Macau. As soon as we sat down, I saw the table already filled with bottles of French wine (Dourthe). Manager Liang’s friends are indeed interesting people—including the second generation of Ta Feng Tire, the son of a former finance minister, Lions Club members, lawyers... but the most surprising was the elder celebrating his 70th birthday. As the music started, he, more energetic than any young person, jumped onto the dance floor, swaying vigorously and dancing with the girls nearby, making everyone completely forget his age—truly astonishing. A wonderful night, listening to rhythmic music and drinking with a group of fascinating elders. Life is like this; all we ask is to live it …
