After a morning meeting at the World Trade Center, as I was about to take the elevator down, Tom asked me, 'Where are you going for a drink today?' I told him I had no idea. He said, 'There are plenty of places on Anhe Road.' That really woke me up—I realized there were still some spots in the Anhe Road area I hadn't tried yet. So around 1 PM, I first went to this Italian wine-focused shop, which I'd visited at its Taichung branch but not in Taipei. I ordered three glasses of wine, the last being a Bulgarian red I hadn't had in a while. While drinking, I chatted with a young female staff member.
