Taipei, Dr.Origins 達橙生活館 Dream Plaza store (2nd visit). I’ve been studying Italian wine lately, so after dinner I realized it’d been a while since I’d seen Kelly and dropped by this branch, where I tasted a mineral-tinged Sardinian white, a Puglia white aged in American oak with tropical-fruit sweetness, a Chianti Riserva red with clear cherry notes and a medium-to-full body, and was treated to an Italian sparkling wine. I also met Kevin, a regular and restaurant consultant who knows Taipei’s private kitchens inside out and collects wine; we hit it off instantly, trading names like Somewhere by 諦梵尹, the secret 10th-floor 911 near Daqiaotou, Ma Cave 21 near Hooters at Nanjing Fuxing, and 接木酒食 near Xingtian Temple, then added each other on Line and walked to Raohe Night Market for snacks to sober up—Cheers~ By Morgan, evening of July 13, 2026.
