Location: Taipei, Rice Cafe & Cha for Tea One morning, after swimming with A-Fu at their Chunghwa Telecom health club, we went to Yongkang Street to find food. He took me to this small shop he had been to before—Rice Cafe. Just looking at the name, it seems interesting. Only after seeing the menu did I realize the name has meaning, as it mainly serves Japanese donburi (rice bowls). So I ordered a miso pork cutlet donburi, and A-Fu ordered a sauce pork cutlet donburi. Both were 180 NTD + 10%, around 200 NTD. The food is affordable and not bad, and the portion is okay. Overall, it's an acceptable place. After the meal, to pass the afternoon, we moved near Taipei Main Station. First, we browsed the row of bookstores on Chongqing S. Road for an hour or two. Although I didn't find the book I was looking for, I still gleaned some useful knowledge from the books. Later, we went to Hengyang Road, where there's a Cha for Tea opened by Ten Ren Tea. The second floor provides a space for dining and tea. We ordered a cup of green tea and chatted casually. The space inside is quite spacious, making it a good place to sit and rest near the station.
