Travel note: Had lunch with Roger today and talked about a lot of things. We discussed how his team will represent Taiwan in a dragon boat race in Beijing next year, and shared our views on various matters. I also took the opportunity before going abroad to strengthen some insurance coverage. The food at Solo was pretty good—rich cheese, unique orecchiette pasta, refreshing asparagus with onsen egg, and a lemon tart for dessert. A really nice meal.
