Afternoon visit to Vuoi del Vino, a new wine bar in Taipei that only opened in April; owner Katherine, a former New York architect, got her CMS sommelier certification out of interest and recently returned to Taiwan to open this spot, and the two glasses I ordered — a German Riesling and a Spanish red — were both excellent picks, nothing like typical house pours. In the evening, I met up with Sunny, someone I'd just met last week, for a drink at Tilt in the Capella hotel, then we continued on to Weishiwei. Cheers~ By Morgan @evening of July 28, 2026
