Travel Notes: Taipei Wine Cafe, visiting friends in Wenshan District, Wanyouquan Lamb Hot Pot. I came up to Taipei on short notice yesterday. After buying over two thousand NT dollars worth of books at Tenlong Bookstore first, I met up with my university club friend Wen-Zheng in the evening to catch up. We went to a mysterious bar near Daan Station with no sign at all, truly relying on word of mouth. I hadn't seen Wen-Zheng in over two years either; he's still a full-time investor, going on almost ten years now. We opened a bottle of Chilean red wine, paired with some ham and cheese, chatting about each other's views on relationships, updates on other old club friends, and our shared impressions from previous trips, like visiting Seoul. Time flew by, and we didn't part ways until the shop closed at midnight. Afterwards, Loco老大 (old-timer) contacted me, and we went to Jike, which is open very late, for hot pot. We chatted until 3 AM. The next noon, I met up with my junior high school classmates from Weidao, including Yong-Jia who came up from Linkou, to visit Hao-Ting's newly bought house in Wenshan District last year.
