Location: Taipei, Yorokobi Japanese Kaiseki Cuisine
Travel note summary: Yorokobi Japanese Kaiseki Cuisine in Taipei. After watching a movie at Miramar with friend H, we decided to eat at a restaurant there. We hesitated at the entrance because, despite it being mealtime, there were few customers—something felt off. Other places were either buffet-style or required more people to order, so we ended up choosing this one. We ordered a set meal for two: Japanese salad, sushi platter, chawanmushi + miso soup, and fruit for dessert. That's it? Yep, that's it. The bill was over NT$700, which felt a bit pricey for what we got, and the quality didn't seem to match. No wonder the place was so quiet. The decor and atmosphere were quite elegant and comfortable, though, and service was okay. But if the food doesn't feel worth it, running the place must be tough.
