Location: Tainan, Hometown of Tangyuan
Travel note summary: Tainan's Hometown of Tangyuan has been quite popular lately, so I dropped by when I had time. At the start of Minsheng Road, look up near Dongyang Notary. With many varieties to choose from, no wonder it's called the tangyuan hometown. The menu might expand, so no business cards yet. A special feature is the hot pot, with a chocolate flavor said to be fragrant, but I didn't try it this time—just had a bowl to taste. The flavor was decent, and at 20 TWD, it's not pricey.
