Location: Tainan, Ruby Ice Cream & Jiangshuihao Taro Ice
Travel notes summary: In the morning, I had a Shandong scallion pancake at Victory Breakfast, a nostalgic spot for Chengda students. Later, with Brother Xu, I stumbled upon Ruby Ice Cream on Minquan Road—a shop run by a Chengda alumna with 20 unique flavors (3 scoops for NT$35). The owner remembered me from years ago! I tried rum, kiwi, and chocolate. Then, at Jiangshuihao in Guohua Street's market, I had taro ice (NT$30). The taro was slightly less fluffy than before but still tasty. Note: In winter, you can order rice cake porridge with taro here!
