Location: Tainan Huangzhen Stir-fry
Travel note: Someone mentioned a mysterious spot in Rende during summer break—hidden in a back alley near a home salon. Tonight's search came up empty; the area was dark and lifeless. We switched to Huangzhen on Linsen Road instead. Standard stir-fry, nothing special to highlight. We shared greens, braised pork, oysters, shrimp balls, fatty intestines, and winter melon clams. Nine classmates ate our fill, bought some beer and whiskey, then chatted by Success Lake—true friends need no searching. By Morgan, evening, January 17, 2002.
