Chef.com.tw is arguably Tainan's earliest and largest food website. When I wrote a summary of Tainan snacks in a playful poem two years ago, I relied on that site to recall many places I'd visited. I even helped manage it for a while, so it feels very familiar. Egg, a well-known figure in Taiwan's food scene, has introduced me to countless eateries over the years.
