Travel note: Finally got the TV installed today. Flipping through channels randomly, I happened upon an interesting show. A job seeker goes on stage, facing bosses from twelve major companies—essentially bringing part of the job interview process directly to television. Besides self-introduction and stating desired work, the candidate goes through two rounds of Q&A. Interested bosses review resumes while asking their own questions. If satisfied, they keep their lights on till the end and offer positions their company can provide. When there's good talent, competition naturally arises, with bosses vying for the candidate. Like in "If You Are the One," the job seeker goes up to turn off lights—but here, it's the bosses' lights being turned off. The two remaining bosses then describe more precise salary and benefits, and the candidate can choose to accept or say thanks and goodbye.
