Location: Nepal - Kathmandu Patan Palace
Travel Note Summary: Nepal - Kathmandu Patan Palace (Patan Museum, Nepal). I had an online meeting today, so I didn't schedule my itinerary too tightly. I just slowly wandered from the ancient palaces and temples in the morning to a modern shopping mall. For lunch, I had a Nepali meal set: Khaja. In the evening, I went to the rooftop pool bar of a high-end hotel (Vivanta Kathmandu, Koko Bar). I opened a bottle of Portuguese red wine by myself and, in my usual slightly tipsy state, enjoyed Nepal's beautiful dusk. After night fell, I asked the server to transfer my remaining red wine to the neighboring Asian restaurant, where I switched to ordering black pepper buffalo meat to go with the wine.
