Location: Helping a friend set up TradeStation
Travel notes summary: Helping a friend set up TradeStation. Just got back to Taiwan late at night, which was afternoon in the U.S. (Haven't been back in so long that the community gate lock was changed—almost couldn't get in. Thanks to neighbor Auntie Shen for coming downstairs to open the door for me!). Before I could even rest, I got an email from a new American friend. The issue didn't seem too hard, so I just remotely connected to help him set up TradeStation. This new friend is Jewish, and his wife Debbie is from Hunan. Debbie studied math and has been in the U.S. for over twenty years. Luckily, she speaks Chinese, which saved me a lot of trouble since my spoken English isn't strong. Debbie seemed really happy to have someone to chat with in Chinese after so long—we ended up talking 90% of the time. She said if I ever go to Florida, I should visit them, and she could even introduce me to job opportunities in the U.S., blah blah... In the end, less than 10% of the time was actually spent setting up TS @@ By Morgan @ Feb 14, 2015.
