Travel Notes: Tonight, I came to see my NCKU graduate school classmate Kunda in Zengcheng, Guangzhou. I took a bus from Dongguan to Guangzhou Railway Station, then transferred to the subway and took a taxi—about a two-hour journey. Over the past few days, I've met three old friends I haven't seen in a long time. Life really is just a few short autumns; when there's a chance to gather, we should gather more. Kunda has been sent here by Foxconn to pioneer for almost two years, witnessing the development of this area from scratch. After dinner, Kunda took me on his electric scooter to the town center to buy sports shoes. It reminded me of 16 years ago when we often rode scooters together through the streets and alleys of Tainan searching for good food. Back then, I never imagined that many years later, we'd have the chance to ride a scooter together again, wandering the streets in such a distant place. After buying shoes, we went to buy some of Guangzhou's specialty herbal tea. I can only say life is so wonderful—it's not about location, just about fate.
