Location: Guangzhou, Panyu District, Lotus Mountain
Travel Notes: This morning, I came to Lotus Mountain in Panyu, Guangzhou with Kunda to meet senior Xinchen, a class of '89 Civil Engineering graduate from NCKU. Senior Xinchen is Kunda's colleague and also knows junior Jiarong. It's been almost half a year since we last met in Hong Kong. I walked around Lotus Mountain, one of Guangzhou's 4A scenic spots, with Kunda, senior Xinchen, and his little daughter. Unexpectedly, the scenery here was much better than I anticipated. Over two thousand years ago, Lotus Mountain was a large quarry, so many man-made, awe-inspiring landscapes naturally emerged. After walking for more than two hours, getting my weekly exercise quota, we had dim sum at the incredibly busy Fujing Restaurant for lunch. Thanks for the treat, senior! :) Continuing down from Panyu, we reached Nansha District, which I visited just last week. At Nansha Pier, I bought a ferry ticket 11 minutes before departure, ready to head to Hong Kong's China Hong Kong City Ferry Pier. Another fulfilling on-the-ground tour of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area~ :p And thank you to all my good friends for your hospitality alo…
