Travel Notes: Company year-end party + mini trip in Guangzhou and Shunde. Friday lunch at Shenzhen's Yuyuan for Shanghai cuisine. Friday dinner at Shunde's Zhuroupo for Shunde-style food (a really interesting restaurant—the outside looks like a wet market, with ingredients picked fresh on the spot, and the landscaping is nicely done). With future new colleagues' families and an old friend of CEO Liang from his Big Four banking days, about twenty of us split across two tables. Dr. James, just back from CES in the US, shared his insights—still focused on healthcare and sports, using IoT, cloud, and wearables. Friday night KTV. Stayed at Sheraton Shunde.
