Travel note: It's true what they say – Guangzhou is a food paradise. Tonight's dinner featured two dishes I'd never tried before. One was Daliang fried milk (Daliang is a place in Shunde), made by stir-frying milk and egg whites until they solidify – smooth, sweet, and savory. The other was a labor-intensive dish where all the fish bones were removed and the cavity stuffed with flour and vermicelli. Paired with a bottle of red wine, it was an excellent meal. After eating, we visited Mike, whom I was meeting for the first time. He mainly works on product advertising design – TCL's smart air conditioners and Tencent's new email service... all packaging designs were commissioned to him. Judging from the work he showed us, it was truly visually impressive. His company even has its own photography studio for shooting products. Mike also opened a bottle of Argentine red wine from his collection for us to enjoy after dinner. A very interesting visit! :) Stayed at: Royal Prince Hotel (Executive Suite).
