Travel note: A Taiwanese friend, Xiao Yao, came to visit me in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi. He brought along Mr. Gong, who supplies upstream materials and processing for tiles in Taiwan and is currently the industry leader. Since Xiao Yao is familiar with Nanning, we arranged to meet there. Last night after work, I rushed to Shenzhen Airport and arrived at Nanning Airport in just over an hour—my 11th airport visit this year. I had a pleasant chat with Mr. Gong, whom I met for the first time; he now lives in Taichung and recently welcomed a newborn son.
