Travel notes: Mainz, Germany. After returning to Frankfurt Central Station for the third time this evening, I took a train for about an hour to Mainz, a city near Frankfurt by the Rhine River. My cousin Iris recently came here to study, so I made a special trip to visit her and also see the Rhine River night view. First, I recommended she try German Riesling, while I ordered a semi-sweet white wine of the BACCHUS variety.
