Travel note summary: I’d heard about this Japanese yakiniku place almost three years ago when I first came to Hsinchu, but back then, rumors of poor service kept me away. One weekend evening after playing badminton with friends from UMC, we suddenly remembered this spot and decided to give it a try. Perhaps management had changed—the owner’s attitude seemed quite friendly. This meal was also to bid farewell to Yanlu, who’s leaving UMC for a career shift to Sinyi Realty, meaning he won’t be joining our weekend games anymore.
