Travel note summary: Early Sunday morning, after having breakfast with long-unseen Zhiqian and Yanlu, I went with Zhiqian to Hsinchu Christian Church to attend a class (introducing the life of Jesus). I also saw Xiaozhu, whom I hadn't seen for even longer. Zhiqian had been stationed in Singapore for two extra years, so his national defense service only ended this year, but he'll probably stay at UMC for now. The last time we met was when he had just returned to Taiwan, and in the blink of an eye, seven or eight months have passed. With Yanlu and Xiaozhu, it's been even longer.
