Location: Hsinchu - Hao Chi Mian & SkyLark
Travel Note Summary: Last Sunday in Hsinchu, two meals in one day. For lunch, we went to another famous local eatery, Hao Chi Mian. My friend and I ordered dry noodles, bone broth noodle soup, meatball soup, and a side dish (a kind of jelly that looks a bit like 'mercury'—I can't even type the character with Zhuyin @@). It reminded me of meat jelly. The noodles were fairly thin, but the side dishes seemed even more delicious. As for Hsinchu's meatballs, they're always pretty good :P. In the evening, I met up with a few friends for dinner at SkyLark in the A.mart mall. I've always admired Champ, a senior of mine, who decided to change paths for now—leaving his Ph.D. studies in Computer Science at NCTU to venture out and showcase his talents at Sunplus Spin-off, Sunplus mTek. Meanwhile, Qinxi firmly declined his supervisor's attempt to retain him and left his job at AUO, deciding to start a new life plan in southern Taiwan.
