Travel note summary: Not long after getting up on Saturday, I received a call from my older sister saying she wanted to eat out. So at noon, I went with my older sister who works in the science park and my younger brother who claims to be diligently preparing for graduate school to this well-known, affordable Japanese restaurant in Hsinchu. The three of us ordered one Chicken Teishoku ($290) and then ordered some à la carte items, as shown in the picture in order: 1. Chawanmushi (teishoku) 2. Vegetable Tempura (teishoku) 3. Grilled Mackerel (teishoku) 4. Grilled Chicken (teishoku) 5. White Rice (teishoku), Crab Meat Salad (teishoku), Taro Salad ($60) 6. Hand Rolls ($45*2), Hand Roll (teishoku) 7. Assorted Futomaki ($85) 8. Assorted Nigiri Sushi ($190) 9. Prawn Tempura ($130) 10. Miso Soup ($15*2) 11. Fruit. With this, we managed to get quite full. One characteristic of this restaurant is that its teishoku sets are quite generous in portion.
