Location: Hsinchu Left Bank 16 Western Restaurant. Travel note summary: Yesterday afternoon, after playing badminton with two friends and Steven, a colleague and trader from the company, as usual, we went looking for a hearty dinner after exercise. So, Zhiqian, Yanlu, and I went to Left Bank 16 in the alley on Fuxing Road. Unexpectedly, as soon as we arrived at the entrance, Yanlu said, 'Ah, this is where I used to work @@a.' But it wasn't Left Bank 16; it was another restaurant that was the predecessor of Left Bank. So as soon as we sat down, he immediately went to check out the bathroom to see if anything had changed = =. The three of us ordered Pumpkin Chicken Baked Rice, Saffron Seafood Risotto, and a Cheese Seafood Baked Rice. The main courses also include pasta or steak dishes. All meal prices start at NT$260 and above, and a 10% service charge is added to all prices. I had long heard that Left Bank 16 is famous for its cakes—the owner painstakingly collects cakes from various well-known bakeries.
