Location: Hsinchu, Jiang Zhi Hu Japanese Cuisine Travel notes: May 1st, Labor Day, is also Morgan's parents' wedding anniversary. So of course I didn't go home—I let them celebrate alone. I stayed in Hsinchu to rest for the day. After reading manga all afternoon, I returned home. In the evening, I got a call from John and went to his place to chat about some things. Thanks to his family's hospitality, I had dinner there. After leaving John's, I called Changyu, who had invited me to eat, but I told him I was already full. He said, "No problem, just come hang out!" (Hmm, sounds like I'm a host or something = =). Soon after, I ended up at Jiang Zhi Hu Japanese Cuisine in Qingye. I've been here a few times before—it's listed as the 79th restaurant in "90 Restaurants Morgan Ate in Hsinchu." Its main feature is affordability. Upstairs, I saw Changyu, Aunt Dolphin, and KuaKua's brother. Besides their own teishoku and donburi, they'd also ordered soba noodles.
