Travel note summary: Hsinchu Rose Garden Set Meal Restaurant. Last Wednesday, I came to this set meal restaurant on Jinshan Street for the second time. It seems to have several branches in other parts of Hsinchu. I described it in a previous monthly note. The shop's layout and decor give a warm feeling. But I think the biggest feature of the shop is that its chef uses various fruits to pair with main dishes. From the orange fish fillet I ordered last time, the pineapple duck slices I ordered this time, and several items listed on the menu like mango beef strips, etc. Fruits themselves usually have a certain sweetness, so to have various ingredients combined with fruits and still have a complementary effect requires continuous experimentation to find good combinations.
