Travel note summary: Hsinchu Zhuyuan Lamb Soup & Zhubei Monet Garden Cafe. The night before last, I went to Zhuyuan Lamb Soup for dinner. I've been here over seven or eight times already. Given how often I eat out, for a place to get this many visits from me, it must be pretty delicious, right? Actually, it's not that exaggerated. The main reason I explore it is that I occasionally crave stinky tofu. When I used to live near the Longshan Community area, whenever I thought of a decent stinky tofu place nearby that could also solve a meal, I'd always end up walking here. So, from its earliest days as a roadside stall on Science Park Road, I've been eating here all the way until it moved to a storefront diagonally across the street. When I come alone, I most often order a plate of dry flat noodles (30 NTD) paired with a serving of stinky tofu (40 NTD). For me, enjoyment isn't limited to Western food, shared dishes, or Japanese cuisine.
