Since starting this blog, I've really made many new friends. One of them, Rex, contacted me after reading it and invited me to a meal. So this Monday, we met at this yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) place. (Originally, we planned to eat at Yunnan Wind, but after Rex called, we found out they were moving to a new location across the street and were renovating.) Jineixiong Station is in the same alley as Taizhiwei, formerly a famous beef noodle area in Hsinchu. The interior decor has some character, and there seems to be a large private room upstairs for gatherings.
Besides à la carte, there are two set meal options with different prices based on group size. For two people, the cheaper set (Vitality Meal) is NT$690, and the more expensive one I think was NT$880. Adding NT$130 to the set lets you include a Japanese hot pot originally priced around NT$250-300. Not knowing the portion size, we just ordered the NT$690 set.
