Location: Hsinchu, Free Traveler Coffee & Sanzhi, Sanzhi Little Pig
Travel Notes Summary: One afternoon, I brought friends from Tainan to Free Traveler Coffee to use the Wi-Fi for a discussion. I'd heard about this place from Hsinchu foodie gatherings, though I wasn't part of them initially. I read through everyone's blog posts about it. Today, we just had drinks (fruit tea, hot chocolate, coffee, around NT$150 each), so I can't comment on the food, but the cozy decor, cute menu, and nice tableware made it relaxing. Interestingly, the shop is very close to my old place in Longshan Community, but sometimes you hesitate to visit nearby spots. From a blog, I learned the owner is a senior's high school classmate—small world! Speaking of afternoon tea and Hsinchu foodies, after visiting the Lee Tian-lu Puppet Museum, we went to Sanzhi Little Pig to pick up pre-ordered toast. I don't often visit the north coast, so this was my first time. The toast is famous, and the backyard has a lawn—a nice spot for snacks or tea, though it's popular and often crowded.
