I previously saw a recommendation on the Wretch board from a user praising the dumplings inside Fanglin Beef Noodle on Nanda Road. So last week, I found some time to swing by and try them. The boss lady was quite enthusiastic. The cabbage and chive dumplings were 4 NTD each. I ordered some of each kind and also got a bowl of wonton soup (30 NTD). The shape, pressed out by a dumpling mold, is quite eye-catching. They taste pretty substantial. The wontons are flat and small. The soup is seasoned with fried shallots and tastes okay. But in Hsinchu, the dumplings I prefer eating are from Ye Ji. I didn't know about this place originally. Once, my colleague Xiao Li came over and asked if I wanted to do a group order for this shop's dumplings. If the quantity was enough, they could deliver. I thought, sure, let's try it.
