Location: Jin Diwang Shibu Wuguji, Hsinchu Travel note summary: After work yesterday, I hurried to Subway to exchange a stamp card for a sub and had a quick meal before heading out again (Morgan really likes subs, so I filled up the stamp card quickly @@). I rushed to Caesar Park Hotel Hsinchu because a senior was holding an event there and invited me. Besides showing support, I mainly came to learn and observe how the senior arranged and managed everything. After it ended, the senior took me to a restaurant. Honestly, I've passed by this place so many times but never really noticed it. It's right next to the underpass where Guangfu Road meets Zhonghua Road, opposite Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. The storefront looks quite casual, but quite a few people drive here specifically to eat. For this late-night snack, besides me and the senior, there were two of the senior's friends—one works at Coretronic, and the other is Brother Li, who worked in the Science Park for 12 years. The four of us ordered half a black-bone chicken (500), a plate of vermicelli noodles each (30), and a bunch of hotpot ingredients (rice blood cake, intestines, frozen tofu, vegetables, etc.), totaling exactly $800.
